MENOPAUSE CHAMPION

WHAT IS A MENOPAUSE CHAMPION?

A Menopause Champion is a trained and approachable point of contact who helps make menopause support visible, accessible and part of everyday workplace culture.

They provide a safe and confidential space for employees to talk about how menopause may be affecting them at work, help people understand what support is available and, where appropriate, signpost them towards their manager, HR, occupational health or other relevant support.

A Champion is not a doctor, counsellor or HR decision maker. Their role is to listen, support, signpost and help employees feel more confident having conversations about menopause at work.

For employers, a Champion can provide an important connection between employees, managers and HR, helping organisations understand where additional workplace support may be needed.

WHY CHOOSE AN EXTERNAL MENOPAUSE CHAMPION?

Not every organisation has the internal resource, expertise or capacity to provide ongoing menopause support. An outsourced workplace menopause Champion provides employees with an independent and approachable point of contact, without placing additional responsibility on HR teams or managers.

It also provides continuity. Rather than relying on one employee to take on the Champion role alongside their existing job, your organisation has access to dedicated, confidential support that remains available as your workforce and needs evolve.

For HR and leadership teams, an independent Champion can also provide valuable insight into recurring themes and potential barriers within the workplace without compromising individual employee confidentiality helping you identify where further awareness, training or organisational support may be beneficial.

AN INDEPENDENT CHAMPION FOR YOUR PEOPLE

Et Voilà Consultancy provides access to Certified Menopause Champions, giving your employees confidential, independent menopause-informed support without requiring you to create the role internally.

Through regular online drop in sessions, employees have an accessible place to talk, ask questions, share their experience and explore the support available to them.

For your organisation, it means visible and consistent menopause support that complements your existing HR and management structure and demonstrates that your commitment goes beyond simply having a policy.
